With expansion plans for the business, Classic Fine Foods required a larger space suitable for wholesale ambient / cold storage, ‘Taste Lab’ (Cookery School), offices and welfare facilities all under one roof. The brief was to manage separate specialist contractors to deliver each element of the Cat B fit-out.
Classic Fine Foods UK Limited
291 Abbey Road, Park Royal
£8 million across 3 separate contracts, with strict requirements for budget approval by Parent Company.
50 weeks, with a phased occupation and early access to the warehouse facility.
The project involved the Cat B fit-out for the Tenant of a new building, with the base build being constructed by the Landlord.
The base build was monitored by Goodrich to ensure suitability for our client’s specialist use, including a series of enhancements to the original specification.
The client wanted to engage with three separate contractors to deliver specific elements of the building fit-out and a phased occupation by staff relocating from another facility in the area.
This required careful management of the CDM Regulations roles and responsibilities to ensure safe delivery of the works on site.
Goodrich managed the consultant team of interior designer and services engineer, along with the specialist design and build contractors.
The client’s occupation was achieved on schedule with a hard lease end stop on their existing property.
